Residence problems - what to do
Has something changed in your residence case, or is something going wrong? We have collected the situations in which deadlines run and on which your permit depends.
Much can change in a residence case - before the decision and after it. You change or lose your job, you want to travel, you receive a summons from the office or a refusal decision. In each of these situations deadlines run, and your permit and legal stay depend on meeting them.
Start with two dates: until when your legal stay lasts and when you received the last letter from the office. They determine how much time you have to react.
Choose the topic that concerns your case. We describe what the law says, which deadlines run and what you can do. You will find the basic rules on your stay while waiting for the decision in the guide legal stay after submitting an application.
