Who can create an account

  • an adult foreigner - for themselves,
  • a parent of a minor foreigner - for that child,
  • a guardian of a foreigner - for the person they care for,
  • a curator of an unaccompanied minor foreigner - for that minor.

This is how the MOS portal describes it. It corresponds to the legislation: for a child the application is submitted by a parent or guardian, for a fully incapacitated person - by a guardian, and for an unaccompanied minor - by a curator (Art. 105 para. 2 of the Act on Foreigners).

How to log in

First you register a user account on the portal mos.cudzoziemcy.gov.pl, and then you log in to it through login.gov.pl. To sign the application you additionally need a trusted signature or a qualified electronic signature - see Profil Zaufany (Polish government e-ID) and signature and proxy.

E-mail address

Notifications from MOS arrive at your e-mail address, for example that your employer has filled in the annex to the application. The MOS portal warns (notice of 8 May 2026) that the mail.ru domain treats messages from MOS as spam and does not deliver them. If you have an address in that domain, create the account with a different address.

Proxy and the account

A proxy cannot create an account for you or fill in the application on your account. The MOS terms of use forbid using other users' accounts, and you must keep your login details secret. A proxy or adviser can, however, sit next to you while you fill in the application yourself.

This is how we work at Forcen: we fill in the application together with you and check it, but we do not log in to your account and we do not sign the application for you.

When something does not work

  • Check the questions and answers database on the MOS portal - it covers, among other things, password recovery, changing data and deleting an account.
  • Clear your browser cache, update the browser and do not use automatic page translation - this is what MOS technical support recommends.
  • Problems with logging in or signing may result from a technical break in Profil Zaufany (Polish government e-ID) - the MOS portal publishes notices about such breaks.
  • You report portal errors to MOS technical support, and questions about the procedure through the contact form. Technical support does not answer legal questions.
